How to protect folder without any software.

Security is essential  thing in term of computer field or in any computer. There are lot of applications are available to protect your data from intruder. But it is very time consuming to decide which will provide great security. When we search on internet, then lots of similar result will be shown. Then main issue is which will be best. Finaly we decide, but next problem come with licence. Because many software only permit to use itself only within specific period. And when period over, it ask to purchase.

All this is time consuming and irritating job. So I came with new trick where you don’t need to use and pay for any software to secure your files and folder. You can protect your folders or files just by writing following code shown in following snapshot.

NEED TO FOLLOW STEPS TO PROTECT DATA :

•  Open nodepad and write code shown in following snapshot. 

•  Save file with lock.bat (you can use any anme but .bat is compulsory).

•  Double click on lock.bat and it will open MyFolder.

•   Put all data that you want to be secure in MyFOlder.

• Then again double click on lock.bat and command prompt will open then type Y and hit enter. It will hide MyFolder.

• In order to acess MyFolder again double click on lock.bat and it will ask for password. So enter password and press enter. Your default password is TechHunt and to change password just replace TechHunt with your password in code.

Why it is need to hide lock.bat fle?

It is not compulsory to hide lock.bat file. But if you thng that using lock.bat file anyone can change password. So for your safety just hides lock.bat in secure place in your hard disk.

So this is all about how to protect your folder without software. Try it on your pc/laptops, because it doesn’t have any effect on performance of your machine and above code is 100% error free.
